Why titanium

A surface that doesn’t soak anything up

Wood and plastic boards take in what you cut. Solid titanium has nowhere for juices, odour or stain to go.

Non-porous, so nothing soaks in

No open grain and no knife grooves holding yesterday’s garlic or raw-chicken juice. A rinse takes it off the surface because it never went below it.

Two sides, kept separate

Whether you’re cutting, carving, or serving, Katuchef does it all. The double-sided design lets you keep raw and cooked foods separate, so you can prepare every dish with care

Won’t warp, crack or splinter

It doesn’t swell with water or dry out and split, so it stays flat on the counter instead of rocking under the knife.

The board, up close

Six things you notice on day one

  • Solid titanium. Not a coating.

A single sheet — nothing layered on to chip or peel.

  • Nothing soaks in.

No open grain, no knife grooves to hold juice or odour.

  • Won’t warp. Won’t crack.

It doesn’t swell with water or dry out and split.

  • Two faces. Raw on one, ready on the other.

Both sides finished the same way.

  • Rinse it. Or just put it in the dishwasher.

No oiling, no seasoning, no drying flat.

  • Harder than your knife. That’s the trade.

You hone more often — for a surface that never absorbs anything.

Why choose it

Why choose the Katuchef

Solid titanium board, brushed surface

One piece, not a coating

A single titanium sheet the whole way through — there’s no layer that can chip or peel off into your food.

Nothing soaks in

No open grain, no knife grooves.

Both faces of the titanium board

Two working faces

One side for raw meat and fish, the other for anything ready to eat. Both finished the same way.

The board lying flat on a kitchen counter

Stays flat on the counter

It doesn’t swell with water or dry out and split, so it won’t start rocking under the knife.

Water running over the titanium board

Cleans in seconds

Rinse it, or the dishwasher.

Every other board keeps something.

This one has nowhere to keep it.

No grain. No grooves. No coating.

One sheet of titanium, all the way through.

From customers

People love their Katuchef

  • Sara
Love this cutting board! It’s so much easier to clean than my old wooden one – no more scrubbing food out of knife marks. After 6 months of heavy use it still looks brand new. I feel so much better knowing I’m preparing meals on a non toxic, antibacterial surface.!

    Sara

  • Eve
“I used to dread chopping vegetables because my knives would dull so quickly on my old boards. With the Katuchef cutting board, my knives stay sharp, and i dont have to keep reaching for the sharpener. You just HAVE to have this”

    Eve

  • Linda
“I always hated how food smells lingered on my wooden boards. Onions, garlic, everything! But Katuchef doesn’t absorb any odors. It’s so satisfying to cleacn it and have zero traces of yesterday’s dinner sticking around, always looks like new. Good investment”

    Linda

Questions & answers

Will it dull my knives?

Faster than wood or plastic, yes — titanium is the harder surface, and we’d rather say so than pretend otherwise. In practice it means honing your everyday knife more often, not damaging it. If keeping an edge as long as possible matters more to you than a surface that never absorbs anything, a wood board is the better pick.

Is it really solid titanium?

It’s a single titanium sheet, not a coated core. That’s why there’s no layer that can chip or peel with use.

How do I clean it?

Rinse under the tap, or put it in the dishwasher. Nothing to oil, season or dry flat — because there’s no grain to protect.

Does it slide around on the counter?

It stays flat, which helps, but a bare metal board on a bare counter can slip. A damp cloth underneath fixes it — the same trick people use with wood boards.

Can I use both sides?

Yes — both faces are finished the same way. Most people keep one for raw meat and fish and the other for everything else.

What if I don’t like it?
